A short trip to Sitakundu Eco-Park ,Chottogram.
ON 7th February, 2019.



This is the first Eco-park in Bangladesh. It was established in 2001 on about 805 hectares. The main purposes of creating such Eco- parks are storing biodiversity, conservation.

At 10:00 am we reached our destination to Sitakundu Eco-Park ,Sitakundu, Chottogram. At first we bought our ticket from the counter and enterd
into the Park to watch the natural beauty of Hills and Holt . The ticket price is 20bdt only.

There are a number of visitors are enjoying under the spring.
Now Sohosradhara Jhorna Has no much water but there have a pond like water under her. As a result they are enjoying the still water.
Nature of Beauty

There have 150 species of flower in which 35 types of roses, 1500 species of trees along with medicinal, 100 number of Orchid of

Three natural springs are situated here. Two of them are named ‘Sohosrodhara’ and ‘Shuptodhara’. The springs look great during the rainy season.






There has four picnic spot, 10 guestrooms for the tourists. The Chondronath Temple is situated on the top of the Chondrnath hill. People have to cross 300 stairs to get to the top of the temple. Almost 1550 stairs have to cross from the foothills to get to the top of the hill. 


There also has A Maszid to Say your Prayer. After finishing our walk we came back to the Maszid and said our Zohor Salat. Furthermore there are some snacks and resturent also .WE eat our launch with pepsi .

How to visit Sitakundu 

It is easy to travel at Sitakunda eco-park tourists can come here by bus, microbus, or by CNG taxi from Chittagong. If anyone wants to come here from Dhaka he can easily come by any bus services on the road.
